Miracles for Mya is in memory of Mya Tinajero who lost her more than 6-year battle with stage IV Neuroblastoma, in March of 2017. Mya touched the lives of so many during her short 10 years on this Earth; she was known for her smile, kindness, generosity, and bravery. Mya was always passionate about giving back to others. Starting with her 6th birthday, she decided to forego birthday presents and instead asked her guests for new toys that she could donate to ‘her hospital’ where they could be given out to her fellow patients. Keeping with the spirit of our very special girl, we too want to give back. We, Mya’s parents, thought the best way to honor our precious little girl is to raise money through our foundation, that will help families in our community, who are affected by pediatric cancer. We’ve walked in those footsteps and understand the difficult journey, which has helped us empathize with the dozens of families that we’ve helped over the last several years
